Beyond Meat ;that vegan alternative that is shaped like meat because people actually like eating meat ;had it's sales drop 9% . The company is going to lay off 20 % of it's work force.

Ventures like vegetable-based "meat" products don't bother me as long as the government is not invested in them. If private companies want to market them and consumers want to buy them, then it's fine with me. I don't really care if they make it or not. I've tried the burgers and they were better than I expected, but the price was ridiculous.
