Get in touch with your local Court house.
This does NOT stop you having to pay to support your child.

You would file a motion with the family court to give up your rights, If the parent with custody has a new spouse that is willing to adopt the child, then child support can stop.

But no, you will have to continue and pay all your child support, even if you give up your rights.

** and honestly why give up rights, you don't have to use them, you don't visit, you don't take the child during the summer, don't call them on christmas, they can't force you to use your rights, so you really don't gain anything giving up rights you don't have to use.

You have to petition the court to terminate your rights and even if the other party will let you, IT IS STILL UP TO THE COURT whether they are terminated
