Maple chase thermostat
We went out of town for two weeks and turned the thermostat up to 82. When we returned we used the down arrow to put it down to 76. The room temp remains at 80 and the unit shuts off. Have tried new batteries, checked fuse and hit reset button following directions on the back of the thermostat cover. Help

In the Heat mode, the burner does not come on. The fan does not come on when the ON is selected in either the Heat or Cool mode. The system remains inoperative when the Cool mode is selected. The batteries are good. Is this a thermostat malfuction?
