How Exponge FBI files for charges that were dropped?
Back in San Francisco, California around May 1992, my then girlfriend went to eat, she got very drunk, we went to her house, while I was reading the newspaper in bed she suddenly started hitting me I started to defend myself from her violence. I grabbed her to try to stop her from hitting me, she stopped, got dressed went to police department which was around the corner, 5 minutes later 2 policemen came to the house they picked me up, booked me into jail around 10pm, was fingerprinted and waited until next day for the Judge to release me which he did immediately since they have apparently called her and she did not remember what had happened and the charges were dropped, I was just told this incident is in the FBI files andprobably with District Attorney in San Francco. How do I clean something that I did not do and was never charged with, nor I was guilty? I will appeciate any help on this matter. My record is totally clean, includingmy DMV record, except for this.

Your most likely going to want to have your California arrest record sealed. That will mean they destroy the records from public view, even though the FBI will probably still keep a copy.

    Good luck.
