    Laminated Beam Span Tables
    I have a 111 year old 2 story double brick farm house, want to support the current triple 2 x 8 beam then I want to add another beam 4 ft away to support another wall that supports both floors. Something in the basement was removed at some point. C an I use a triple 2 x 8 lvl beam as my new beam, in turn there will 2 triple 2 x 8 beams, I will be doing 6 new footings a 16" x 16"support pad, 4 ft' deep

    Load tables for beams are designated by the manufacturer depending on the wood. Discuss your issue with the manufacturers. I have attached some tables but do not use these as an ordering platform.
