I have a 111 year old 2 story double brick farm house, want to support the current triple 2 x 8 beam then I want to add another beam 4 ft away to support another wall that supports both floors. Something in the basement was removed at some point. C an I use a triple 2 x 8 lvl beam as my new beam, in turn there will 2 triple 2 x 8 beams, I will be doing 6 new footings a 16" x 16"support pad, 4 ft' deep

Load tables for beams are designated by the manufacturer depending on the wood. Discuss your issue with the manufacturers. I have attached some tables but do not use these as an ordering platform.

Or even your lumberyard if you order it through them, and they will contact the supplier they use, and email you the answer.
