Rocker switch illuminated 3 prong connecting to LED light bar
I am connecting a Gardner Bender GSW-50 illuminated round rocker switch to a LED light bar. The inline switch is bad and I want to put the rocker switch in the cabinet wall for easier access. There is no wiring diagram and I will use the cut points from the inline switch and hope to use female connects for the prongs on the switch. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Switch has three terminals. Two appear to be silver and one is brass.

Connect your meter to two of the terminals (probably the silver) to see if the switch makes and breaks the connection. After determining which of the two terminals the switch makes and breaks, connect your hots to those two terminals. Connect your neutral to the third.

If the pilot light is on when the switch is in the off position, reverse the hots.

Photo may be deceiving. It would be more logical for the hot terminals to be brass.
