    Testosterone
I am a 56 year old male. After a year and two physicals my doctor talked me into testosterone replacement theory. Injections every two weeks. My level five weeks ago was a little over 100 which I was OK with. I am overweight, have a low energy job and lifestyle. Sex not an issue, I was able to perform OK. After beginning therapy, I never noticed any real changes till about a week ago four weeks into therapy and a week after my fifth injections. At that time, I started having trouble sleeping at night and it has progressed into not sleeping at all. I was up for two days straight, not being able to eat or drink, heart racing, anxiety, hyperactivity (amped up, bouncing off walls). Did blood test went back to doctor and turns out he prescribed too much Test. My level went to a little over 100 to over 1000 and free test. Level was 270 almost off the chart. I have decided I don't want to take it anymore and quick the shots. My last shot was a week ago and still not feeling well but a little better. Still can't eat and drink. I have to force myself and have lost 10 pounds which is not a bad thing. Will I be able to go back to the way I was before and how long will it take?

You will and it will take a little bit. You need to process and eliminate the hormone. I would consult with your doctor if the symptoms continue for more then a week longer.

I think the less active you are the longer it takes to improve those levels. At least walk more. Stay in touch with your doctor about this regularly. Get your health in order. Lifestyle changes are better than meds.

Chances are they're prescribed by their doctor. This is something you can't get over the counter.

Thank You, symptoms are a little better at this time. However, I have developed severe Tinnitus in my right ear and it has been there for going on four weeks since stopping the Testosterone treatment. Doctors say it had nothing to do with the Testosterone and most likely will never go away. Still not able to eat much. I have loss 30 pounds in the last four weeks. Something I have never felt before is a lack of sensation of hunger. I get an empty feeling in stomach when I know I have not eaten in some time and I find something to feel it but I get no cravings or satisfaction from eating. Nothing wrong with my taste. Also foods I use to love to eat like sweets and other items have no interest to me anymore. This is odd!
