I am a 56 year old male. After a year and two physicals my doctor talked me into testosterone replacement theory. Injections every two weeks. My level five weeks ago was a little over 100 which I was OK with. I am overweight, have a low energy job and lifestyle. Sex not an issue, I was able to perform OK. After beginning therapy, I never noticed any real changes till about a week ago four weeks into therapy and a week after my fifth injections. At that time, I started having trouble sleeping at night and it has progressed into not sleeping at all. I was up for two days straight, not being able to eat or drink, heart racing, anxiety, hyperactivity (amped up, bouncing off walls). Did blood test went back to doctor and turns out he prescribed too much Test. My level went to a little over 100 to over 1000 and free test. Level was 270 almost off the chart. I have decided I don't want to take it anymore and quick the shots. My last shot was a week ago and still not feeling well but a little better. Still can't eat and drink. I have to force myself and have lost 10 pounds which is not a bad thing. Will I be able to go back to the way I was before and how long will it take?
