My toilet fills up too much. Why?
I have replaced all of the interior parts in the tank and the toilet still fills up too much. What can I do to fix it? This is at a complex with 12 toilets and it is the only one with a problem.

It's a simple adjustment of your float device, What kind is it?

What exactly "fills up" ? Tank or Bowl ?

If Tank than adjust fill valve
If Bowl than it is clogged in the bowl itself. Get 5' auger and snake it

    Hope that explains

My upstairs toilet seems to fill when it should be flushing. I press the handle and it fills close to the top, then slowling empties as the tank fills. There seems to be no powerful swirling that most toilets do. This is a two year old home. Please help. Jake.

Toilet fills, but the water does not go down. [ 10 Answers ]

I have two toilets in the house. I am on a septic tank. The upstairs toilet works fine. The one downstairs will fill, but the water loses the spin and will not flush down the drain. All other pipes seem fine. Help, getting annoyed. Been at this two days.
