    Gas Log Installation Question
I have a Blue Flame Lighter on the incoming gas line in my fire place. I am installing gas logs. Do I need the Blue Flame Lighter box between the line and logs?

That will depend on the particular fire log set you have. Call the people that sold you the unit and ask them. In most cases each fire log has its own igniter, so my guess is that your log set will come with a similar product.

    Good luck!

PS: Check local codes. In most cases, a gas permit and a proper inspection of your work is required. This inspection requirement has saved many lives over the years.
