1st Question! Water pressure in tank disappeared after unclogging toilet
Hi guys! I live in a house originally built in 1892 though I have no idea as to the age of the plumbing. Recently, a baby-wipe type item was accidentally flushed and caused an overflow. I turned off the water, plunged several times - each time filling the tank manually - and the clog cleared. I noticed some water dripping from underneath the tank, where a copper tube screws in, so I tightened it with the water still off. The only problem is before there was a strong stream of water flowing into the tank and it would refill very quickly. Now, the water valve is turned on completely but the water just trickles out. I know that water pressure should be a separate issue from the toilet mechanism, but I feel that they must be related since this change occurred immediately after I worked on the toilet. Plus, I noticed before that as the ball floats up the stream slowly lessens until it stops. Towards the end of the refilling phase if you push down on the ball slightly the water will come out strongly again.. so there must be a connection? Perhaps I pushed something out of place? Below is a picture, as I'm not sure how to describe the fixture. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Please excuse my lack of the correct terminology :)

Bee, you'll get an answer soon. I'll let the plumbers give you advice, but I can tell you that your problem is not a big one.

The pic did not post, at least it did not for me. Might want to try that again.

The picture didn't work for me either but will guess you may have a bit of debri from turning the water off and back on. No biggie just flush the fill valve out, which may have flushed itself after a few uses.

Or just replace it with a fluidmaster fill valve that has a float.
