I have an Empire Model DV-210-10SG wall furnace and the fan does not come on.
I have an Empire Model DV-210-10SG direct vent wall furnace. The blower that I installed will not come on. One day many months ago I called tech support and the guy had me hold a flame up to the Fan Control R1156 and the fan came on, but never again without the flame. I am wondering if the fan control is too far away from the "Hot Box" to activate the fan. Any easy solution to this?

I have a similar unit and mine comes on OK. Can you move the sensor closer or is it part of the fan?
