1. Press "Normal Wash" and "Heated Dry" one after each other about five times. 2. All lights on panel will light up. Wait until all lights go out and it resets itself. It will go through a test mode. 3. Press "Cancel" and set as you normally would and press Start. (Originally posted by curtisst. If the above does not work, do this: (From another post here) "1. Unlock your Kenmore dishwasher control panel by pressing and holding the "Heated Dry" button for four seconds. 2. Press a series of four buttons in quick succession. Press "Heated Dry,""Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" to instruct your Kenmore dishwasher to run a short diagnostic test. 3. Wait for two minutes while your Kenmore dishwasher runs its diagnostic test. 4. Press the "Cancel/Drain" button once your dishwasher has completed its diagnostic test.
