    Mad woman in attic in classic movie
    Help, What movie, a classic, shows a woman lunging out at someone, she is in chains. It is an old movie, maybe jane eyre or wuthering heights. She is very insane and swinging her chains at someone. Please help me find this image for some work I am doing. Thanks!

    Thank you, no. I believe it was one of those black and white late 30's or 40's gothic romance films like Jane eyre or wuthering heights which I am trying to find and play... there are a few versions of each... so going through those.. quite scary mad woman kept in attic or room for years... thank you though I appreciate it still looking if you happen to mention it to some old film buff... she is chained to the wall and lashing out at whoever comes in...

    Maybe the 1943 version of Jane Eyre, the scene of the woman locked up begins around 1:20.
