    Depo shot
    Hi , I'm kind of worried , because Ive been on my depo shot for 11 months , I stopped in October , and I'm getting PMS symptoms... I be thinking that Im on my period but it's just mucus... Is that normal? And when will I get my period after the withdrawl?

    I tell all of my patients that Depo is to be considered long term birth control. It can take as long, or longer, than 6 months for your body to return to normal after discontinuing the shot.
