Ok I had my newborn 8 weeks ago and the day after I had her I got the depo birth control shot well like I said it was 8 weeks ago and I am still bleeding is this normal? It's not that heavy its basically like period bleeding I am supposed to go to the dr for my 8 weeks checkup/papsmear but with me bleeding I know they can't do a pap because with it bleeding it will automatically come back abnormal so I won't let them do one if I am bleeding but is it normal to still be bleeding or what?

I was not aware they would even give a shot of hormones so soon while all your hormones are still fluctuating so much after the birth... Usually you will bleed 4 6-8 weeks after the birth of the baby, but with all the hormones going, it might be something wrong.. Call your doctor though.
