    Torque converter seal leaking
    Dealer says I need a torque converter seal, cause its leaking, 2013 4 cly, awd, equinox, 15,000 miles, so how long should it take, how many hours of a job ? Tks

    That's a big job... about a 11-13 hours, give or take.
    Is that NOT covered by the vehicle powertrain warranty?
    Check with your local dealership to be certain.

    It should be covered under warranty. Likely take 15 hours.

    they fixed the leak at the bottom of the trans and engine, where they bolted together, they said it was the converter seal, now, at the bottom of the value body, its very plane to see it leaking from there, just at the bottom part of the cover, at the gasket, the bolts were tight, I checked, looks like they may get to that w/o pulling the trans, not sure, so you know if the trans has to be pulled to change that gasket? Tks richard
