Which Carb should I use?
Working on a Briggs and Stratton 1213320251e1 and it needs a new carb, the only numbers I can find on the carb are the following:
215369 7501 9018 2184 It has a manual choke. When I look up the parts list for the motor, it says there are 2 different carbs that fit on it part numbers as follows: Briggs and Stratton 798650 Briggs and Stratton 698474 It has a manual choke and it's off of a Brinly LV-33 Lawn Vac. Which carb should I go with? Thanks. |

Hi,
You seem to have looked them up correctly! The difference is the numbers in the Code, which is also the date. It changed on April 1, 2010. Probably is an emissions issue, though I can not be sure. They will both probably work though the one with the higher number will run leaner, if it is truly an emissions thing. Peace, Clarke |

I got an old mtd riding mower ran about a year ago. Drained all the gas put new and I don't get any to the carb. I blew the line out in to the tank but no gas then I blew from the gas cap got a lot of gas, but when I let off the air the gas stops. What can I try?
