How long should I wait after coxsackie virus to try to get pregnant?
I had coxsackie virus last week. It went away fast, and I felt fine after 2 days. How long should I wait before I can try to get pregnant? I am having ovulation this week. Should I wait till next month to be on a safe side?

You should wait a minimum of two months as the virus can still be contagious for up to 6 weeks or longer.
Coxsackievirus, otherwise known as Hand Foot and Mouth Disease can be fatal to a fetus. You want to wait until you are 100% free of this virus before you attempt to conceive. |
