I keep losing power in half my house but my breaker is not tripping. Why?

I lose power for a few hours then gain it back. My circuit breaker is not tripping, and I tried to replace the breaker but still same issue. I also checked the gfci outlets and re-set them but still same problem. What can be causing this?

Hi. My light just flickered in my bathroom and now all the lights in my apartment won't turn on not even my fridge, but my outlets work all but one. How can I fix it? I tried the main breaker already.
Power out in half the house

I have an old fuse panel and the power has gone out in about half the house. I have checked and rechecked all the fuses and they are fine. Then while pondering my next step the power suddenly came back on. This was not a power outage on the grid as we still had some lights and recepticals working....

A few days ago half of a circuit went dead. The circuit is on a 15 amp breaker and feeds outlets in 2 bedrooms(about 8 total), track lighting (in one bedroom) and a hallway light.
