    How long will my husbands residence process take ?
    Houston, TX

    My husband filled for the DREAMERS ACT before we got married. Witch he received already, so he has a work perm and a social. Now that were married we filled for his residence. Will the
    Case be faster since he already has a work perm and social. How long would it take ? (im a US citizen)

    What are you asking? You say he already has a "green card" (work permit). Are you asking how long citizenship might take?

    The so-called "DREAM Act" proposals have not been adopted into law. So, it would be hard to say how long (if ever) this process might take.

    Having DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which is what I understand your husband has) does not have any effect on his applying for permanent residence (green card).

    The process can take different times, depending on many factors. Are you using a immigration attorney?
