    Need help with a odd bolt hole closet flange
    Bought a off brand toilet the rough in is 12" but the bolt holes are 14 1\2 " is there a specific flange to buy and where can I get it

    Easier to return the toilet and get a 12". Offset flanges work in a pinch but I do not like to use them as a normal install since you are adding another possible choke point.

    More details please! Brand name? Did the advertisement say 12" rough? If so return it. If not can you explain why you bought it? Back to you, Tom

    I agree, return the toilet. Moving the flange to save a few dollars on a toilet just isn't worth it.
