Replacing a cast iron shower drain with tile flooring, second floor
My current cast iron shower drain is rusted out and leaking. I have tile flooring in the shower and it's on the second floor. I'm not sure how to go about replacing it. Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

A great deal depends on how far down the rust goes in the old drain. It could be as easy as inserting an Oatey twist n set drain Twist-N-SetŪ Replacement Closet Flange | Drains & Closet Flanges | Oatey If the rusted area is further down like at the elbow then you need to open the ceiling in the room directly below the drain to see what's going on.
