    What do I need to travel within the USA If I am a permanent resident?
    Im 21 and I don't have a state I.D, I want to travel to California. What do I need?

    You can walk or hitchhike without ID... You aren't going to fly without one... and You might not be able to take a bus (but I'm not sure).. you certainly aren't going to be driving.

    Why at 21 do you not have an ID yet.

    How did you ever manage to become a permanent resident without an ID? I'm assuming you are not a natual born citizen. Because we don't refer to ourselves as permanent residents.
