    Transition from quest pipe to pex what fittings can I use to go from quest to pex pipe are shark bites OK

    You need a special Sharkbite polybutylene to PEX fitting. I believe it is compression on the Poly end. Not sure if HD or Lowe's carry.

I'd like to get rid of the old Quest PB stop valves in my bathrooms. Is there an easy way to get the ring off? Mine have what looks like stainless steel rings that keep the nut from sliding off the copper. Did one with brute force but there's got to be a better way.
