We had a power surge and now the unit is not working. Is there a way to reset it?

There is no real reset. Check the fuse on the control panel, inside the air handler. If the fuse is good, there should be a signal light on. Turn off the main breaker, wait 5 minutes and rest the breaker. Let the unit cycle. If there is no power at the control panel, you may have lost the control transformer and will need to check voltages or have an HVAC tech look it over.
