    Hampton bay ceiling fans troubleshooting
    My Hampton Bay ceiling fan will rotate in the "winter" direction but not the other. There is a slight vibration in the blades like the motor is trying to kick in but no dice... Any suggestions? Thanks!

    After reading through it seems I should add a little more information. It has both pull chain and remote. I get the same result (or lack thereof) with both methods of controlling it.

I have a new Hampton Bay Remote control Light and fan unit. After installation, the lights work but the fan run on high no matter what you do. By pressing the buttons, the fan will slow but pick up speed when you let up on the button.
