    Hampton bay ceiling fans troubleshooting
    I have a new Hampton Bay Remote control Light and fan unit. After installation, the lights work but the fan run on high no matter what you do. By pressing the buttons, the fan will slow but pick up speed when you let up on the button.

    What happens when you turn the fan off, wait for it to stop, then turn it on Low?
