Plumb in an American Fridge Freezer
    Hello

I hope someone can help me! We currently have an american style fridge freezer that is plumbed in and has ice and water dispenser.

We have sold our house and looking at which new house to buy. We have decided the fridge MUST have ice/water as we use it every day. The house we really want has the space but only in one place. The kitchen is otherwise perfect so we don't want to go knocking it about. There is a radiator on the same wall as where we would put the fridge freezer, but the sink is on the opposite wall and there is a external door in between. Would it be possible to plumb the fridge freezer in or not?

Big job, small job? Opinions please!

Thanks very much for your help! :) xx

You can plumb it anywhere you want. Practicality is another issue. Don't put it in front of the radiator. All you need is a 1/4" line and a saddle clamp if approved for where you live.

    Hi Kaff79

All depends on weather the new home has a basement or if you are on a slab (no basement). Obviously, if you are on a slab, plumbing this up will be tougher (but not impossible)...a basement present should allow for easy plumbing/installation of a water line...;)
