Re-wiring replacement Pilot Ignition Control
I have a convection oven that uses the old Johnson G770-MGC-3 intermittent pilot gas ignition control.
I recently bought a gas ignition control (ICM 290A model) which replaces many of the Johnson models. The Johnson G770-MGC-3 has a couple of differences swith the newer ICM 290A model that I can not figure out. Below are the wiring images for the old Johnson G770-MGC-3 and the new ICM 290A, respectively. If anyone can help me figure out where to place the proper wiring I would be very grateful! My problem with my Lennox furnace (model G23Q-3/4-100-2) is blowing cool air, and only occasionally heat was diagnosed as needing a Universal Pilot Module, part #53L9001 also known as 53L90. Question, if we purchase the part how difficult is the installation?
Residential gas unit blows constant cool air honeywell pilot lite will not work
I wire the module up correctly and have 24V to module but no spark or led fault lights. The exhaust fan starts up and ignition sequence starts but no spark. Suggestions or exsperience with this module. Thks Mike
