    Old-style toilet
I have an old-style toilet that has the tank bolted to the wall; there is a leak at the bottom of the tank when the toilet is flushed and water travels through the 2" diameter pipe into the bowl. There is a slight vertical misalignment between the tank and the bowl (about 3/8" over a span of 5"), and the new neoprene washers, tightened down hard, don't quite stop the dripping when the toilet is flushed. Any suggestions?

Line the pipes up again and try tightening the nut now. Good luck, Tom

How can I style my hair in 40's style? [ 1 Answers ]

I am going to a themed party this weekend(pin-up girls/army guys). And I need a cute 30s/40s hairstyle. I want something that looks like Dita Von Teese. My hair is about shoulder length. I can't find a good how-to website for achieving this look. Anyone know of any? Thanks :)

Water closet style toilet needs to be disconnected [ 1 Answers ]

My old-fashioned water-closet toilet (the kind with the tank high on the wall overhead and a pull-chain flush) needs to be disconnected so a new floor can be laid. The tile layer doesn't know how to move this type of toilet, even though it's a repro and not really old, and he is afraid he'll mess...
