    NJ taxes for NY Resident
I work in New Jersey, but live in New York City. Do I need to pay New Jersey tax as well as New York State tax? If so, do I get a credit for the tax I pay in New Jersey?

You file for both states and PAY NJ, but NY will give you a credit for the NJ taxes paid.
