    Our Craftsman 42"will start and run but will not accelerate
    Mower will start and run but will not accelerate and bogs down while cutting grass.

    Hi,
    Sounds like a power production problem. First thing to check is the air filter; try running it without it in place briefly to see if it changes. If it does, replace it. If not try the valve adjust at 0.006".
