Splicing mwires for a vacuum cleaner
When splicing a three-wire cable to a two wire one, which colors on the 3-wire (green blue and brown) do I attach to which colors (black and white) on the 2-wire?

Where are the 3 wires? That is not typical colors used for wiring except in conduit. Green is not code approved for carrying current, only as a ground.

I am thinking about buying a new vacuum cleaner and would like a recommendation on one that you have found to be good at really suctioning up the dirt. Price is not a factor.
