    Goodman furnace
    My Mothers furnace pilot will not glow to start the ignition for heat, any suggestions where I start to trouble shoot?

    What happens first. Could be a number of things but I would start with the surface ignitor or one of the limit switches. Do you have a volt/ohm meter?

The furnace comes on and the furnace ignites. It then burns for a few seconds and goes off without the fan coming on. I have changed the flame sensor. Didn't help. Also the fan will come on by itself without the furnace coming on. Help!!
