    How to wire a fan light combo to two seperste switches and one power source
    I have a bathroom fan light combo and I want to wire it to two separate switches. The combo has a black white and green wire also a blue for the light and brown for the fan. Also as yellow for common and a red for a night light but I am not using that. I have run a 12/3 from the combo to the switches also the power source is in the switch

    At the switch connect the two white wire together with a wire nut. Connect the black of the in coming power to both switches. Connect the black of the 12-3 to one switch. Connect the red to the other switch. Connect grounds together.

    Follow instructions for wiring at fan/light comb or restate the wires in the unit. You list to many wires, unless this is a heater, fan, light night light unit and the yellow is really a white.
