    Pump not pulling water
    Hello I installed a 3/4 deep well above ground pump about 1 1/2 years it was working great then she a problem with the galvanized pipe not holding a prime they pulled the pipe I had water at 50 foot down I put in new pipe to about 60 foot this is a single pipe with a new foot valve in a 2.5 inch well I primed the complete pipe it held the prime with no leaks turned the pump on and it will not pull water up pressurize the system any help with this would be great

    You cannot set up your system in that manner. With a single pipe (shallow well setup), you can only pull from about 25' down. To go to 50 feet, you will need to setup with two pipes and the jet at the bottom with the foot valve.

    I am assuming it was originally two pipes going down.
