    I want to know how much surface area is needed to heat water 1 degree flowing at 630
    I want to know how much surface area needed to heat water 1 degree flowing at 630 gallons per minute through a 3 inch tube.

    Not enough info. What's your source temperature? What is the tube made of? The hotter the source, the time you need to heat it and the less surface area you need. There are too many factors with the very limited info you gave.
