Tubes tied, pregnancy symptoms
Hi, I'm 27yrs old my tubes have been tied fir 5yrs. My question is, my breasts have been swollen hard and super tender since about 2 weeks before my period last month. I wrote it off as pms and carried on. Well they are still very tender and swolen and hard. I also get the let down feeling throughout the day. These symptoms usually cease a few days after my period begins, after a month it's aggravating and I don't have health insurance at the moment or else I would just go get checked out. Please any serious advise will greatly be appreciated!

And you are sexually active, and wonder if you could be pregnant? Yes, there's a very slight chance, even with one period. Buy two or three test kits and test 2 weeks after your period would be due.
Your hormones could simply be out of normal balance, if you aren't pregnant. Testing hormones gets expensive. Swelling is usually associated with high estrogen, although it's not as simple as just that. During most PMS, swelling occurs when estrogen goes up and other hormones go down. You may be sort of stuck there for a while.
You need a healthy diet and exercise, enough sleep and low stress. I know that's a tall order. Try a calcium/magnesium supplement as well. Or a multi-vitamin if your diet isn't good.
(It isn't a good idea to go on a site and demand serious answers. It just puts people off. Yes, some answers are terrible on the net, but it's all people like you, volunteering, so take the bad with the good.)

If you had your tubes tied several years ago and now suspect that you might be pregnant. Contact your doctor.
Tubal Ligation/Implants/Tubes Tied: Effects, Chances of Pregnancy After
Tubal ligation
- There is a slight risk of becoming pregnant after tubal ligation. This happens to about 5 out of 1,000 women after 1 year. After a total of 5 years following tubal ligation, about 13 out of 1,000 women will have become pregnant.1
- Pregnancy may occur if:
- The tubes grow back together or a new passage forms (recanalization) that allows an egg to be fertilized by sperm. Your doctor can discuss which method of ligation is more effective for preventing tubes from growing back together.
- The surgery was not done correctly.
- You were pregnant at the time of surgery.
....
Call your doctor immediately if you have had tubal ligation or tubal implants and you have:
Be sure to get checked early if you have these signs of a tubal pregnancy.
It could be a number of other things as Joy has pointed out, but you need to rule out pregnancy as early as possible.

While pregnancy is certainly a possibility, with a tubal ligation an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy is a much higher possibility. It is very important that you seek medical attention to either rule out or confirm viable uterine pregnancy.
