When will my dog taking her meal?
Finally Jiny (The Beagle) has five pups now. It has been past 40 hours since she birthed those cuties. She ate all placentas. Since then she is taking her meal in a very small quantity (almost nil). I am offering her curd, eggs, puppy food and her favorite treat Scoobeestix chews chicken flavor. The ingredients of Scoobeestix as below-
    1. Protein: 72.15%.
    2. Fat: 00.99%.
    3. Carbohyd: 13.32%.
    4. Calories: 350k/100gm.
    5. Calcium: 117mg/100mg.
    6. Iron: .02mg/100gm.
    7. Phosphorous: 39.86mg/100gm.
She is taking Scoobeestix treat & curd happily & asking for more but not taking other food. How much stix & curd I can give to her. When will she take her normal food. Don't tell me to ask the vet, I know it. I want some experienced persons answers.

Give hers some time and I am sure that she is doing fine and you meals are also perfect for her requirement and you should not be worried about the same.

Birthing dogs usually don't feel like eating after delivering their pups, it's pretty normal. It will take a short while but just be persistent and it will be back to normal .:)
