    State select water heater pilot will not light
    I have followed instruction on thermostat to light pilot and nothing happens. What else can I do? Model no. Gs650ybvit 100 serial no. A07a100912 cap. 50 gal.

    Hi Sammie

    Find a State water heater distributer in your area and get the thermocouple and replacement gasket kit and change out the thermocouple assembly. While changing the thermocouple, you are also required to change out the gasket that comes with the kit (keeps the combustion chamber leak free).

    A local plumbing supply store will most likely have the correct parts (call 1st).
