me and this guy have liked each other for a while now but we were always just best friends.. and then we went to a rave together about a month ago and he was all over me the whole night and we made out at least 10 times. since then I've developed stronger feelings for him and I've acted more flirty towards him. he told my friend that he likes me but doesn't want to date... why? he knows me well enough to know that I won't be a controlling or obsessive girlfriend or anything like that and I'd honestly do anything for him.. and he's one of the only guys I've made out with so it's not like I go around doing with guys. he texts me every night just to talk to me and he's so sweet over text like I can tell he likes me but at school he won't come up to me or talk to me if he's with his friends but when we're on the bus he always tries to sit with me. I know his friends like me too and I'm friends with all of them so it's not like they don't like me. and I've made it pretty clear that I like him too and some of his friends know so they've probably told him so it's not like he's afraid that I won't say yes. I'm in grade 9 and he's in grade 10 but I always hang out with the older grades and the gr 11 and 12 guys like me too. the gr10 girls don't like me and my friends because they're jealous that we hang out with the guys in their grade but the guy I like told me he doesn't like them either yet he acts like their friend at school but they're so fake.. I'm tryna give a lot of information because I just want to know why he won't ask me out! other guys in his grade aren't into dating either they all just want to go around making out with different girls at parties but I know that he isn't using me because he told my friend he likes me and I only kissed him that one life and I haven't done anything again. if anyone has any idea why he doesn't want to ask me out or if anyone has any advice on how to get him to ask me out I'd really appreciate it!

I'm kind of in a similar boat. But in my case, I feel like he doesn't want to be tied down so he can continue talking to other girls without feeling bad.
I'm not saying that's what he's feeling, he might really not want a girlfriend cause he wants to just have fun
