Hi! I'm 20, will be turning 21 in a months tym and I'm pregnant! I'm with my boyfriend for almost a year, and he is completely supportive of whatever I decide to do, be it abortion or keepn my baby. The thing is... I am so torn up about what to do ! I study through correspondence and currently on my 2nd year gng on 3rd and I also work, my boyfriend also works. The problem isn't with us though... Its with my family... As much as they love me, they would disown me if they found out I'm pregnant because as far as theyr concerned... I'm still innocent and a virgen :( I feel so bad to disappoint them but it all cums down to losing mY family or losing my baby! I'm only a few weeks pregnant but I already feel so emotional about the whole thing... If I had an abortion, the guilt would eat me up and if I don't have the abortion, I will loose my family :( I really don't know what to do... If anyone has been in a similar situation, please help me with my situation... Time is running out... Many thanks

The decision is yours and your boyfriends. We can't really counsel you to keep or terminate your pregnancy.

It's a rock and a hard place but this is the consequence of your actions. Did your birth control fail? Did you use birth control?

Are you sure your family will react like that? Are you sure that you want a family that reacts like that? Do you want to hold off on your degree? As a new father I know that it can be daunting to do a small fraction of stuff I used to in my spare time. Where do you want your life to go?

You need to have a good long conversation with your boyfriend and decide. You're partners in crime and he's got equal say in what you do.

This baby is also your parents' grandchild, so maybe it's time to talk with them (and confess that you are no longer a virgin) after talking with your boyfriend.

My parents were the same way as yours about virginity, but would have been very unhappy if I would have had an abortion.
