    Gun charges by a felon
    My husband got charged with possession of gun, ammo, resisting arrest, driving on suspended, and careless driving. No prior gun charges but a big list of other convictions. How much time could he get

    Hello A:

    If they turn it over to the feds, there's a mandatory 5 years. How much time he MIGHT get is dependent on that long list..

    It could be handled as a traffic charge, since that looks like how it started... He needs a good lawyer.
