    Red hair nightmare
    I dyed my mid- brown hair, red and hate it. I now want mid blonde hair. So I used a hair stripper which took the colour out fine. As soon as I add a toner ( I found an ash colour as advised) my hair turns back to red again. What am I doing wrong? I can't afford a salon.
    Please help, its funny how these little things drive you mad!
    Would it work if I dyed my hair a darker ash brown on top of the red, then add a stripper? Or, add a stripper then add a darker ash brown, then work up through the browns to achieve a mid blonde? Am I going mad? Yes!
