Showers & water pressure
I have just moved into my new house and I want to know which shower is best as the water pressure is very poor upstairs.
I currently have a mixer tap with shower which is very poor for getting showers as when you put the hot tap on the cold tap slows down and if someone down stairs puts the cold tap on the water stops altogether. The house has a combi boiler fitted already which is in the cupboard in the bathroom and the water tanks have been removed so I don't know why the pressure up stairs is so low and how can I increase the pressure throughout? I want to know if I get a shower should I get a power shower or a normal one? Any help would be appreciated thanks |

I have an older mobile home and there have always been problems with low hot water pressure in the showers. The cold water works fine in the showers. The sinks all over the house have decent water pressure for both temperatures. If I do not use the shower for a while, the hot water works good...
I own a 2004 one story home. 1500 square feet. The hot water pressure in both bathtubs only has started running very low. Everything else is normal. Nothing else has been tinkered with that would have caused this. What would be the cause and cost to fix?
Both of my upstairs showers have gradual decrease in water pressure. It started in the master bathroom so we started using the spare upstairs and now this shower is slowly losing water pressure.
