My boyfriend of 2 years has joined the marines and is going to bootcamp in March. He's been distancing himself from me and it's making me depressed. I put so much into this relationship and now I feel like he's just throwing me away.

He told me it'd probably be best if we break up before he leaves. He's mad at me ands says I need to stop being so selfish and to move on with my life. What do I do? He doesn't even want to talk to me, I feel so lost. I don't want to lose him, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me. He's my only friend, too. I think the only reason he's still with me is because he thinks I'll be suicidal if he leaves me while I'm depressed (which is completely untrue) but makes no effort to comfort me.

I don't think he loves me anymore. We used to have an amazing relationship, we've had so many good times. What do I do? Whenever I talk to him I can't cover up my sadness and he said it drives him crazy :( Please give me advice. We are both teenagers by the way.

If you loved him you would let him go and do what he feels he must. I know it hurts to let go, and even harder to control the sadness you feel, but no matter how hard it is, you must let him go.
