Please help- wiring "hunter" remote ceiling fan speed/light
    Hunter remote model # 99122
    Hunter fan "Louden" model # 51048, other # H083 46P2, Item # 363707

Hello, The hunter fan has a pull chain to select fan speed and a chain to switch on light. Once I install the universal remote, does the pull chain switch need to be in high speed position. The fan's relays and capacitor wires are all downstream in the light bulb area. But there is the blk, blu, what wires from the fan where I hook up the remote receiver that's mounted near the ceiling area. Or do I have to remove the fan's capacitor and other wires around to get the remote to communicate with the fan correctly. The remote says it works with all hunter fans.

Wire house hot (black) to remote hot in (presumably black), wire house neutral (white) to remote neutral and to fan/light neutral. Connect fan output of remote to black of fan/light. Connect light output of remote to blue of fan/light.
Set fan to high with pull chain. Turn light on with pull chain. Turn wall switch(s) on.
Use remote to control fan and light. Unless you are electrical engineer don't mess with internal components of fan/light.

My ceiling fan pull chain just broke, but it's the one for the main light in the ceiling fan, not the fan itself. Combined, there are 3 pull chains on this old thing - 1 for the fan blades, 1 for the 4 outer smaller light fixtures, and 1 for a large center globe-type light. This latter one, the...
