Installed a new mixer stem
I installed a new Mixet Stem with Teflon Head (4 1/2")
All is working properly, however the Stem retainer nut is slightly shorter than the old one, so when I attach the escutcheon, the screw misses the retainer nut. I have to keep the escutcheon away from the wall to get the screw to catch the retainer nut. Now the water can get into the wall. Is something connected improperly, or is there a plate or large washer I can put behind the escutcheon so that I don't have the large gap between it and the wall? |

Just installed a new moen positemp mixer and my water pressure is little to non,I am only using cold water as I have no hot water installed yet. When I pull the cartridge out water gushes out the brass fixture, I insert the cartridge again and water pressure disappears.
